The Best Western Red Arrow in Montrose
will be the Headquarters for Rockies-Gold 2011, with the Comfort Inn and
the Black Canyon Motel, being other accommodations you might want to consider -- all of these accommodations are fairly close to the
Red Arrow. The Red Arrow is an outstanding facility, with a mix of
interior and exterior
corridors and with a large parking lot
area that will allow for some good "hanging" in the evenings.
Even if you are staying at one of the other hotels, we
hope that you will come by the Red Arrow most evenings to meet more of your
forum friends. Each of these
facilities are Gold Wing-friendly, were used by folks attending Rockies-Gold
2007 and 2008, and we had good feedback on each of them.
Be sure and tell them
that you are with the
"Rockies-Gold" group

You must call to reserve one of our blocked rooms and cannot do it on-line.

For those spouses who wish to attend but
who do not want to made a cross-country trip on the back of the bike to get to
Montrose, there are several options for flying-in -- check the flights to
Montrose. Montrose has a nice, small airport with several flights each day
via United Express and other "express" airlines. We received very good
feedback from those that flew directly into Montrose for
the 2007 gathering. Denver and Colorado Springs are also options, but
those are 4+ hours from Montrose, so that does complicate things somewhat.
